I thank Him for the eternal family unit, for the privilege we have of being sealed ourselves in his holy temples, Chapter 17: Sealing Power and Temple Blessings http://www.lds.org/manual/teachings-of-presidents-of-the-church-joseph-fielding-smith/chapter-17-sealing-power-and-temple-blessings?lang=eng

a neat expierence will do the trick.
today I had the chance to sit next to my beautiful friend Kyra, in a Saint George stake center, gathering to watch the Ogden Temple dedication!

And as much as I was looking down, playing with the CTR ring on my finger, as much as the nerdy boys next to us leaned over to talk.. the special words and lessons I learned today were extraordinary. a true worry that consumes me on a daily basis, the fear of not being with my family (mom, dad, brother and sister) often becomes a big ache in my heart. BUT; through the dedication some expressions that flew through my body enlightened my soul. "you have to allow yourself and work to be sealed for time and all eternity," and "our loved ones have to work for the same blessings." and even though that wasn't an answer of how and why I want and need my family to have the ability of being my forever family, it sure did calm this heart of mine. Peace covered me, and that was my sabbath lesson.

I cannot wait to take my endowments out within the next couple of months. I'm so blessed, so grateful and excited. Thinking of the fact that about two years ago, I wouldn't even have the option of entering into the Holy Temple, as an LDS member blows my mind. It blows me away thinking that the knowledge I have learned through the last two years has changed my life, and my future, it's crazy to think that none of this was important or even in my life at all two years ago. I'm grateful for the missionaries that so lovingly taught me, who are now done serving their two years, but continue to call and text answers to my ridiculous questions on a weekly basis. I'm grateful for this sabbath day.

Xoxo
