the other night i had the blessing of taking my deep thoughts with me to the temple, i had the chance to sit on the temple grounds and think of everything that was bothering me.  in those moments, i felt grateful for the plan of salvation, for the missionaries that taught me, for the friendships that i now have with the Elders who taught me, for the missionaries who are out serving faithfully right now, so this day, i share with you a couple of words; that this gospel has brought light into my life,  i see and know my every blessing, and i am grateful for it all that i believe and i have faith in the words of our savior and prophets. http://youtu.be/_nuUdV6E_Fw

not enough ZZZzzz's.

have you ever been a tired and ultimately drained college student? lately all i want is to lay in bed, to sleep or to watch Netflix. not because i'm sad, because actually i am beyond happy, but because all of this studying, testing and learning is so tiring. i enjoy all of the learning, and i enjoy going to class to see the amazing friends i have been blessed with this semester, but i am really ready for a break. would you like to know the worst part? I signed up for summer semester. there really is no break from here. so enjoying the sleepless nights, and struggling to stay awake through out the day is going to be pretty permanent for now. wish me luck.

i choose him.

Quick Thought that I think is worth sharing-- I knelt down last night in prayer, I decided that praying about my relationship with my Savior, I prayed that the relationship may be strengthened, and that I may grow closer to him. I expressed my love for my Savior Jesus Christ, and told him why I was longing to be closer to him. I expressed to him the feelings I have when I feel of his spirit. Then I got to thinking. Why do I choose Jesus Christ? This question raises a lot more questions. I've thought about this question many times in my life time. And when I thought about it last night, I figured that I had expressed the answer to my Savior in my expression of love to him. I thought that I had covered all of the bases that needed to be covered. Until I got up this morning and had a very overwhelming feeling of loneliness.
