Visions of Glory-- and my new knowledge.

about a year ago, i read a book called "Visions of Glory", trying to gain knowledge on a specific topic; i did gain knowledge in that area; but now as i began reading it once more; i am gaining knowledge on more than just the topic i began reading the book for. If you have not read this book- (it is written by a church author; but is not doctrine) i highly recommend that you start this book. I quoted some of my favorite messages that I gained out of it today; with some of my own thoughts and new lessons i've learned recently; i encourage all to read these; to ponder them and ask yourself what it means to you.

"the lesser suffering we go through is to prepare an individual for their specific mission.."

".. only with three elements can we claim the blessings and the honor of serving in any great cause. When we do this, we are no longer serving the church, our families or even ourselves-- we are serving Jesus Christ directly and doing the Father's work of preparing the world for the end of time and the return of Christ."

I've learned recently that the flaws, the imperfections, the things that we dislike about ourself- those are the very things that imprison our very self. And one of our missions here on this earth is to escape those prisons, to build others up so that they might be strong enough, brave enough and skilled enough to escape from their very own prisons of life. "in this mighty work we will free people from their self-imposed prisons, whether real or figurative, and bring them to zion."

"The image i saw revealed that even though we only perceive one plane of existence, there are an infinite number of planes stacked or layered, in the same space. These planes are not truly "universes" because they are less about infinite stars and suns and worlds as they are about God's organization and exaltation of all his creations and his assigning unchanging glory and laws to each plane."

"God's arithmetic is always flawless, and I saw that the entirety of his creations were the recipient of his flawless Godly engineering.----- It was a place God had created to be exactly what it was- to radiate beauty for the senses to behold. "

I've recently learned a lot about lifting others, building them up and "strengthening others". What would it be like if we would have chosen satan's plan over Christ's plan. It showed that in a world with no good, and no bad, would be a world with no happiness and no sorrows; and this may sound good to you, until you actually look further than no pains. The world would be in a constant state. Which also means, no human progression. we are here because progression needs to happen in order to prove ourselves and in order to get home to our Father in Heaven.

Sometimes during our sorrowful and painful trials, we ask "why me, why are you making me go through this father?" But from now on, what we should be asking is: "What can i learn from this trial Father, what do you want me to gain out of this; instead of only seeking growth once the trial has passed. Seek growth during. Here on earth, the way we choose to endure, the way we choose to overcome our trials, is a choice of whether we unlock our potential or not.

In the times that we think our world is falling apart, God's world is actually falling perfectly together. --- I had never thought of it like this; but this comforts my heart, to know that his world, his plan and his work, along with his earth, is in a constant state of falling into place. The way he has always had it planned.
