the other night i had the blessing of taking my deep thoughts with me to the temple, i had the chance to sit on the temple grounds and think of everything that was bothering me.  in those moments, i felt grateful for the plan of salvation, for the missionaries that taught me, for the friendships that i now have with the Elders who taught me, for the missionaries who are out serving faithfully right now, so this day, i share with you a couple of words; that this gospel has brought light into my life,  i see and know my every blessing, and i am grateful for it all that i believe and i have faith in the words of our savior and prophets. http://youtu.be/_nuUdV6E_Fw

my records

For my record: February 1, 2015 i know that this church is true, I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, who restored the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and with no doubt in my mind, i know that the words which are spoken inside are the words of God, that through our Prophets, both modern and ancient, we can continue on Gods path. I know that God lives, i know that Jesus Christ lives; that he died for me, for you and for all generations of beings who have and are coming to this earth, he sacrificed for my sins, my pains and my sorrows. he knows me, personally and by name. I know that if i use the atonement, he will take my burdens away, and i will be weightless. I have faith in the gospel, that if i do and follow Gods wills, and commandments, i will return to him one day. I was once scared of dying; but now, it's become an exciting thought. Ultimate Charity

I gave a talk yesterday during sacrament meeting- I thought i'd share it here. CHARITY I think that for many of us, charity is something that we have to work for. I don’t think that everybody has the natural ability to be charitable. I believe most of us have to choose to put our selfishness aside, to become more charitable. Charity is a choice. Growing up in Saint George Utah, I was one of the rare, nonmembers in my grade. At a young age, I didn’t understand why none of my friends were able to play on Sunday, I didn’t understand how going to church on Sunday was important than riding bikes outside, I didn’t understand that Mondays were for family, I didn’t understand  when one girl told me while at recess one day, that Jesus gave her belly button. I didn’t grow up in an environment that understanding all of that, believing it and finding hope in that was normal.
