my records

For my record: February 1, 2015 i know that this church is true, I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, who restored the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and with no doubt in my mind, i know that the words which are spoken inside are the words of God, that through our Prophets, both modern and ancient, we can continue on Gods path. I know that God lives, i know that Jesus Christ lives; that he died for me, for you and for all generations of beings who have and are coming to this earth, he sacrificed for my sins, my pains and my sorrows. he knows me, personally and by name. I know that if i use the atonement, he will take my burdens away, and i will be weightless. I have faith in the gospel, that if i do and follow Gods wills, and commandments, i will return to him one day. I was once scared of dying; but now, it's become an exciting thought. he knows your heart, he knows your name.

the other night i had the blessing of taking my deep thoughts with me to the temple, i had the chance to sit on the temple grounds and think of everything that was bothering me. in those moments, i felt grateful for the plan of salvation, for the missionaries that taught me, for the friendships that i now have with the Elders who taught me, for the missionaries who are out serving faithfully right now, so this day, i share with you a couple of words; that this gospel has brought light into my life, i see and know my every blessing, and i am grateful for it all that i believe and i have faith in the words of our savior and prophets. http://youtu.be/_nuUdV6E_Fw

the boy who became my angel

I sit here with tears filling my eyes, with a sharp pain in my heart -- an overwhelming longing for Landon I can't quite express the feelings running through my chest. a whole lot of overwhelming happiness in my heart with a slight urge to laugh and smile because of the memories I have of Landon. My heart is aching but every time reality hits me in the face, reminding me of the truth, Tears and pain aren't the only things I feel. I begin to get giddy, to laugh, giggle and smile. I have so many fond memories of and with Landon. my question is this-- how does ONE human being impact my life so much? your answer is-- because it was Landon Lowry one of the kindest, humblest, smart, funny and overall loving human beings I have ever had the privilege to cross paths with. I...
